My Ridiculous NOT SO pleasant Airline Experiences

The idea of travelling to a new country, city or “village” can be very exciting.

However, when you have a not so pleasant airline experience, the idea of travelling becomes a burden. Over the years, I have had some NOT SO pleasant experiences when it comes to travelling with airlines. Whether it was my food or the entertainment screen not working, i developed this “I ain’t gonna fly with this airline anymore” type of attitude.

I have had a carry-on luggage fall on me whilst seated, been allocated a broken seat, had to change seats which i had booked months in advance, and several undelivered vegetarian/booked meals. Although, I understand that “you get what you pay for” when it comes to airline experiences, it becomes annoying when one has to endure the “pain of a NOT SO pleasant flight”.

My suggestion for airlines:

  1. Feedback review: The option to fill in a form on the flight would allow passengers to provide feedback on their flight experience.
  2. Sincerity: Most times when passengers complained about services, air hostesses have adopted a “why are you complaining about this service” attitude. My suggestion is for air hostesses to be more sincere and understanding when it comes to passengers complaints.
